Pistachio Cardamom Sesame Spread and White Bean Hummus

I LOVE cooking challenges! As a home cook, playing with new products sparks creative culinary brainstorming resulting in delicious well-thought out dishes! After saying YES to the Simply Sesame Blogger Recipe Challenge, I received 3 jars of Simply Sesame butters from Bonelli Fine Food out of San Diego, California. My BraiN began SparKing! Just thinking of the 3 Simply Sesame flavors makes my mouth water!

Simply Sesame flavors:

Pistachio Morsels & a Hint of Cardamom: Pure roasted sesame with pistachios and a hint of cardamon. Think of adding this delectable healthy spread in savory dips, fruit & nut bars, or a healthy yogurt cream pie! Packed with essential vitamins, minerals, and amino acids (and without additives, sugars, or colors), this spread will leave you with long-lasting high energy.

Pure Roasted Sesame: For a healthy alternative to high-fat spreads, try this all-natural creamy sesame spread. Any dish you make with peanut butter can probably be made with sesame seed butter! Simply sesame spread is a nutrition powerhouse! Sesame seeds and sesame oil are known for their antioxidant properties and ability to lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels. As with all our products, you won't find any preservatives or additives in this spread.

Vanilla with Almond Bits: Scrumptious and sumptuous the vanilla and almond spread really sparks my culinary imagination! You won't miss peanut butter or hazelnut spread after you've delighted in this snack. Right now I am having a piece of what toast with banana and vanilla with almond bits ~ YUM!

Just think of the new dishes you can make with Simply Sesame Spreads! You can imagine how hard it was for me to decide what recipe to make for the Simply Sesame Challenge; the possibilities are endless! MY BraiN sparks flew and I knew I wanted to develop a dish that reflected the values of Bonelli Fine Foods SIMPLY SESAME! Their company is passionate about sustainability by providing foods that help lead to a healthy lifestyle. Their products are certified non-GMO, natural, and gluten and palm oil free. There are no preservatives, no peanuts, and no stabilizers! Simply sesame spread is the perfect spread for those suffering from peanut allergies. "Enjoy guilt-free spreads without the negative side effects to our healthy or environment."

SO I chose a recipe that is ToTallY healthy, gluten-free, and natural and promotes a HealthY LifeStyle! Pistachio Cardamom White Bean Hummus turned out with creamy with hints of sesame. The dip keeps for several days ~ a great make ahead party dish. AND it is SIMPLY super easy, just toss all ingredients in the blender or food processor! I know you will love this delicious and creative hummus ~ thanks to Simply Sesame and a little MerrY Culinary Brainstorming! Enjoy!

1 can (15 oz) organic Cannellini beans, rinse and drain

2 tablespoons chopped chives

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon finely grated ginger

In the bowl of a food processor, combine Simply Sesame spread, beans, chives, lemon juice, ginger, black pepper, sea salt, and red pepper. Taste; add lemon or extra black or red pepper, if desired.

Garnish with fresh chopped chives and chopped pistachios. Serve with mini carrots, snap peas, celery sticks, and mini-peppers or vegetables of choice.
